Reflections regarding Wednesday July 31, 2024 to Thursday August 1, 2024 in Castle Rock & Giant's Causway, Northern Ireland
Vroom the sound of the car speeding down the road in the farmland habitat, going to Northern Ireland. On the way we saw cows, goats, chickens, and other farm animals, so we decided to play a game where if we saw a farm animal or any animal we had to act it out. We stopped at an ice cream place and got ice cream. I got a chocolate vanilla ice cream with a cone and so did one of my brothers. We ate our ice cream and went back to the car. We drove to Castlerock. It was on the right. It had two cottages. Our cottage had three bedrooms, one bathroom, and one tv. There was a cat named Rosie and she was cute. We pet Rosie and sat on the couch to watch the Olympics. After that we walked around the farm and got to see different animals and this baby cow sucked on our fingers. It felt slimy.
The next day we went to a castle and walked around and sat on the ground. The castle was on a hill. It was close to the sea. We walked to the car but it took forever for us to get in because a car was backing up. When we finally got into the car we backed out of the parking lot and tried to drive out but it took forever. We finally got out and headed back home. When we got there we pet Rosie and showered. Then we ate dinner and went to bed. The next morning we got up really early because we were going to the GIANTS CAUSEWAY!!!!!!!!
At first, we went to the path that leads to the Giant’s Causeway. We were following the path when we spotted a gigantic patch of grass, we went to the grass and layed down. Then, we made a K with our bodies. Amichai picked up some dead grass and asked, “Who wants me to put this in their hair?” “Not me” said everyone. “Oh fine” I said. So Amichai put the grass in my hair, “Bro! Why’d you do that?!” I exclaimed. He said, “Because you told me to.” And then I said, “well I didn’t know it was dead grass.” I started chasing him around the grass to get payback.
We walked down a road to the Giant's Causeway. The rocks were hexagonal columns. We took pictures. I tried to climb rocks that were really tall and absolutely destroyed. I went from rock to rock, climbing it, and always got to the top. Suddenly, my mom yelled, “Who wants to touch the water? Me me” we all called, and we sprinted to my mom. The water was ocean blue, and was crashing against the inky black rocks. The rocks had barnacles on them so we had to be careful.
The water was cold, but it felt good on such a sunny day. After we felt the water, we walked to a rock that looked like a throne. Along the way I fell in water that had so much algae that the water was green!!!!!!!!!!!! “Oh my god!” Screamed my mom. “I’m fine, sheeshie mamas” I said. (My mom disputes this.)
